Job Description

We're seeking a Technical Lead to join our Platform Engineering division. As a Technical Lead, you'll lead a small team of engineers focused on evolving our core Ruby on Rails application and React front-ends. Your team will spend their days evolving our architecture and building tools to help our teams produce high-quality features.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of front and back-end software engineers.
  • Plan, design, and deliver projects; actively participating in discussions and decisions.
  • Contribute code and grow your technical skills.
  • Maintain the technical health of our systems.
  • Participate in architectural decision-making and implementation.
  • Build speedy code delivery pipelines from MacBook to production that are both developer friendly and encourage best practices around testing, security, data migrations, and issue ownership.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience leading a team of engineers.
  • Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience working with JavaScript and modern JS libraries like React.
  • Understanding of CSS frameworks and preprocessors.
