Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infection Control Practitioner to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing infection prevention and control related services within the Saskatchewan Health Authority integrated service areas.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation and maintenance of an effective Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) program
- Provide training and education related to IPAC and infectious diseases
- Consult on matters related to IPAC as an expert resource
- Participate in quality improvement or research activities as needed within the SHA
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or relevant Health Sciences Degree acceptable to the Employer
- Infection Control Certificate (CIC)
- Infection Control Course
