About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, process returns, and restock shelves as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and provide support.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
