About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 1416182 BC Ltd. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Tabulate Total Payment: Calculate and collect payment from customers, handle returns and exchanges, and provide change as needed.
  • Receive Payment: Process payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a secure and accurate payment system.
  • Calculate Foreign Currency Exchange: Assist customers with foreign currency exchange and provide accurate calculations.
Work Environment

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to work effectively in a team and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic retail setting.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
