About the Role:
Viva Recruiters is seeking a seasoned Senior Audit Manager to join our team in Burlington. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for leading audit and review engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and working papers for audit and review engagements.
- Lead audit and review engagements, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Prepare comprehensive corporate and personal income tax returns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a public accounting practice, with a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or CFE certification.
- Experience in a managerial role, leading audit and review engagements.
- Strong understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).
- Experience with Canadian income taxation and excellent communication skills.
