Job Overview:
The Fabricator and Repair Specialist will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and Repair: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create metal structures and components, and perform welding operations to repair damaged or worn-out parts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Education and Certification: Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship, and certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS, CWB).
- Experience: Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and quality control, ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and strong collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
