Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Broadway's New Marine Family Restaurant & Bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.

Job Summary:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
