Job Title: Academic Expert - Organizational Theory

About the Role:

Athabasca University's Learning Services Tutorial Department is seeking an Academic Expert to provide academic assistance to students, mark assignments, and assign and record final grades for the ORGB 326 Organizational Theory course.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree required (PhD preferred) in Management or Organizational Behaviour/Theory.
  • Subject matter expertise in Organizational Theory.
  • Teaching experience at a post-secondary level.
  • Experience in distance learning and familiarity with digital teaching technologies and online course delivery.
  • Experience with adult education and Moodle online course delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic assistance to students.
  • Mark assignments.
  • Assign and record final grades.
