About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Downsview Kitchens. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to optimize performance.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture products.
  • Verify product dimensions for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • College or CEGEP education in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment.
  • Strong understanding of computer numerical control (CNC) machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing and manual labor.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
