CNC Machinist Job Description

Unique Custom Doors Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using advanced mathematical calculations.
  • Measure and lay out work pieces to ensure accurate assembly and production.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain and repair precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts and components.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Dependability, initiative, and teamwork skills.
