CNC Machinist Job Description

At TECHPRO INDUSTRIES INC., we are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts using precision measuring instruments.
  • Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production.
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance.
  • Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
Work Environment:

As a CNC Machinist at TECHPRO INDUSTRIES INC., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a team setting.

Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
