Lead Chef

Marrow Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. As a leader in the kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes, managing inventory and supplies, and training staff members.
About the RoleThis permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for effective kitchen operations
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer expectations
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Order supplies and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to achieve daily goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Safe Food Handling certificate
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
