About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Private Home MM Family. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation, to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and other errands, ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Urban area.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience, and honesty.
