About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Mrs. Arsenault. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Exercise and Nutrition: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and plan nutritious meals and snacks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Work in the client's home, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
