Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients in a residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and individualized care to clients, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered care plans
Conduct thorough assessments, identify client needs, and prioritize care accordingly
Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress

Requirements

Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
One (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience
Demonstrated knowledge and skills within a specific clinical specialty or patient population
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
