About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Terra Early Learning Society. As an Infant and Toddler Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their basic needs are met
  • Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Criminal record check
  • Public transportation available
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
