Job Summary

Cefa Early Learning Richmond is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Planning: Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that support children's growth and development.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the daycare equipment is well-maintained and safe for children to use.
  • Storytelling and Engagement: Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Observation and Reporting: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Behavioral Guidelines: Establish and maintain guidelines for behavior that promote a positive and respectful environment.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, creativity, honesty, and ability to multitask.
