Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Digital Design Specialist to join our team at DEPT. As a key member of our Personalised Content team, you will be responsible for creating engaging designs that start conversations between people and brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand project requirements and concepts, working on a brief from start to finish.
  • Design responsive emails and landing pages.
  • Storyboard and design paid social ads.
  • Create marketing display banners from scratch.
  • Animate engaging and disruptive videos for social.
  • Work closely with the production team to deliver multiple campaigns at the same time.
  • Use feedback from your peers as well as leaders to improve the standard of work.
  • Pitch creative ideas where relevant to enhance projects.
  • Liaise with the client and explain design thinking.
  • Research the latest design trends to put into practice.
  • Apply industry trends and innovations to day-to-day work.

Requirements
  • You will have a genuine love for the medium, and in particular, digital marketing.
  • Degree in Design or a related field.
  • Good eye for visual design and understanding of visual elements; layout, type, and fonts.
  • Experience with design software, including Figma and Adobe Suite (Predominantly Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g., prototyping).
  • Ability to design in small web placements.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles a bonus.
  • Good typesetting & retouching skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Excellent team player and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Self-driven with an inquisitive nature.
