Collection Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Collection Analyst to join our team at Electricenergyonline. As a Collection Analyst, you will play a critical role in reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes. Your primary responsibilities will include providing collection support for various markets, reviewing and investigating past due accounts, and communicating with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide collection support for various markets, including reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes.
- Review, investigate, and recommend action on past due accounts, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Communicate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Reconcile accounts in case of discrepancies and prepare reports as needed, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Identify and help execute process improvements, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our collection processes.
- Rely on knowledge, training, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience, with a strong understanding of credit and collection policies and processes.
- Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
- Ability to adapt to constant change, with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a strong foundation in business, finance, or a related field.
