Job Title: Proposal Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Development Specialist to join our team at Modus Structures Inc.

About the Role:

The Proposal Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Business Development team in preparing and coordinating proposals for new projects. This role involves creating proposal templates, overseeing the RFP process, writing and editing technical content, maintaining the proposal database, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and facilitating proposal review sessions.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and format proposal templates and presentations that align with corporate brand standards and business objectives.
  • Oversee the RFP process, ensuring timely submission and regular updates to clients and colleagues.
  • Write, edit, and proofread technical and non-technical content to craft clear and impactful proposals.
  • Maintain and update the proposal database for accurate project details.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient development of proposal deliverables.
  • Contribute to proposal strategy development and lead strategic responses for medium to large-scale proposals.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in a proposal coordination role within the construction industry.
  • A degree or diploma in publishing, marketing, communications, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong professionalism and client-focused mindset, with the ability to adopt the client's perspective and understand their needs.
