About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Community. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the effective giving movement in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the effective giving movement in Canada, working closely with key stakeholders in the effective altruism community.
  • Lead initiatives to cultivate and broaden the community of effective givers in Canada, including fundraising, donor management, and philanthropic advising.
  • Engage with the Canadian community and media to strengthen GWWC's presence and influence, promoting the importance of effective giving.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to synchronise goals and initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to effective giving in Canada.
  • Manage and mentor staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence and impactful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in philanthropy, fundraising, strategic marketing, sales, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of success in similar roles.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a strong command of English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and autonomous work style.
