About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist I to join our team at LexisNexis Legal & Professional. As a key member of our organization, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from complex data sets and develop innovative algorithms to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and conduct advanced data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making.
  2. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  3. Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  4. Conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of results to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

Requirements

  1. Have a master's or doctorate in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  2. Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience.
  3. Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues.
  4. Have experience in leading complex projects and customer relationships.
  5. Have substantial experience in a Data Scientist role.
  6. Be adept at working in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a proficient problem-solving mindset.
  7. Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
