Senior Data Scientist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at LexisNexis Legal & Professional. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading and conducting advanced data analysis to drive business insights and decision-making. Your role will involve developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading, and conducting in-depth analysis and interpretation of results to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced data analysis techniques to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Design and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Conduct in-depth analysis and interpretation of results to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Master's or doctorate in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience.
- Natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues.
- Experience in leading complex projects and customer relationships.
- Substantial experience in a Data Scientist role.
- Adept at working in a dynamic, collaborative environment with a proficient problem-solving mindset.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
