Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Northern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support services in a nursing home setting. This is a permanent, part-time position with 23.25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding and toileting.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Transport patients between care facilities.
  • Answer call signals and respond to patient needs.
Requirements:
  • Health Care Aide Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Adult Abuse Registry check.
Work Environment:
