Restaurant Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Billy's Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
