Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist works collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and families to facilitate optimal function in self-care, productivity, and leisure. This role involves consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation, and follow-up in various settings, including hospitals, homes, and communities. The Occupational Therapist establishes individualized treatment plans, prioritizes tasks, and provides education and support to clients, families, and caregivers.
About YouWe seek a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with a Bachelor's degree or entry-level master's program in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university. Licensure with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to promoting a culture of respect, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours and CompensationThis is a long-assignment full-time position with 100% FTE and 75 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $33.97 - $44.40. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
