Job Title: Strategist, Web Content

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategist, Web Content to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our Communications Web Strategy team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of websites, working in partnership with technical teams, and supporting the renewal of our websites in a new cloud-based Drupal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead content strategy, planning, and development for a suite of websites in an assigned portfolio, identifying opportunities for content improvements with a user-centric focus.
  • Maintain governance processes and ensure websites are supporting program goals, working with website sponsors and senior and executive leaders and communications team members across programs.
  • Edit or rewrite existing web content and write content from scratch for new web sections, working with program leaders and other subject matter experts.
  • Oversee training, support, and coaching for web content creators and distributed authors in the assigned portfolio of websites.
  • Track site success metrics, quantifying and measuring feedback to report progress, trending issues, risks, and outcomes based on the websites' goals.

Requirements:

  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, such as User Experience Design, Communications, and Journalism, plus a minimum of five (5) years of recent related experience managing web content for multiple target audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of style guides and grammar, as well as experience writing and editing content for the web.
  • Proven experience in user experience design activities, planning, and managing web properties, including guiding information architecture and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems, ideally Drupal and SharePoint.
  • Ability to teach or demonstrate web content best practices to others.
