About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategist, Web Content to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). As a key member of our Communications Web Strategy team, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of websites, working in partnership with technical teams, and supporting the renewal of our websites in a new cloud-based Drupal environment.

We are passionate about all aspects of content strategy, including editorial precision, relationships with partners, user experience methodologies, and data analysis and insights.

About the Job:

  • Reporting to the Manager, Web Strategy, you will lead content strategy, planning, and development for a suite of websites in an assigned portfolio, identifying opportunities for content improvements with a user-centric focus.
  • You will work with website sponsors and senior and executive leaders and communications team members across programs to maintain governance processes and ensure websites are supporting program goals.
  • You will ensure that website and intranet content is user-focused and aligned with organizational strategies and standards, using analytics, user experience (UX) methodologies, web content development, information architecture, search engine optimization, plain language, and WCAG accessibility best practices.
  • You will edit or rewrite existing web content and write content from scratch for new web sections, working with program leaders and other subject matter experts.
  • You will oversee training, support, and coaching for web content creators and distributed authors in the assigned portfolio of websites.
  • You will track site success metrics, quantifying and measuring feedback to report progress, trending issues, risks, and outcomes based on the websites' goals.
  • You will occasionally participate in a scheduled roster to help cover PHSA's after-hours website needs.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Strategist, Web Content who has a strong background in content strategy, user experience design, and web development. You will have a proven track record of managing web content for multiple target audiences, including experience in writing and editing content for the web, practicing user experience design activities, and using content management systems.
