Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to walk and stand for long periods, and work under pressure to ensure the highest quality of food and service.
