Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Ensure that food is prepared and served to our high standards, meeting quality control standards and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and satisfied.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, and maintain accurate records and files.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Work Setting: Coffee shop or restaurant environment
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, fast-paced environment, and physically demanding work
