Data Management Role in AML Operations

We're seeking a Data Manager, Financial Services, to join our growing AML Operations and Analytics team. This role plays a vital part in supporting data-related projects and initiatives, overseeing database management and design, managing ETL processes, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, and identifying data gaps.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for reliable data access and represent the team on data-related matters.
  • Keep the Associate Director updated on progress, key issues, and project status.
  • Oversee and handle database design, implementation, and maintenance for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Manage ETL workflows for accurate and efficient data transfer between systems.
  • Evaluate data quality by identifying and addressing gaps or missing information.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for informed decision-making, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices for data management and utilization.

 

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or IT, Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in database-related roles, such as Database Administrator (DBA), Data Architect, ETL Developer, SQL Developer, or Database Manager.
  • Proficient in SQL and Azure Databases.
  • Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team setting, collaborating with other organizational managers to support their projects.
