Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Access Manager to join our team at GlaxoSmithKline. As a Market Access Manager, you will play a critical role in securing and expanding market access for our cutting-edge brands in Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute market access strategies to optimize public and private reimbursement for assigned products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure our products gain and maintain funding in both public and private markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with payers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Develop and submit reimbursement and market access dossiers to national and provincial payers, as well as private formularies.
  • Lead the cross-functional team to develop and execute access strategies and tactics to optimize public and private reimbursement for assigned products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health Policy, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with a focus on market access, pricing, sales, or brand marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience in market access within the Oncology/Specialty Pharma/Biotech sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating clear and compelling value propositions and navigating the pricing and reimbursement environment in Canada.
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system, including key trends, issues, opportunities, and stakeholder/payer priorities.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, both internally and externally, with differing viewpoints.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to formulate, develop, and execute complex strategy while balancing short- and long-term goals.
