Job Summary

Foyer Bois Joli inc. is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and ensure that kitchen and work areas are clean.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
