About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Manager to join our team at Foyer Bois Joli inc. as an Executive Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
