Aecon Concessions Seeks Technical Director for Airport Redevelopment Project

Aecon Concessions is seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead the redevelopment and transition into operations of the Cyril E. King Airport in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This dynamic Public-Private Partnership project is being delivered via a collaborative Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain model with the U.S. Virgin Islands Port Authority.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide project teams and interface with main contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and respond to inquiries
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, business administration, project management, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • ~15+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager for airport and civil infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus
