Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections of our equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Repair and Diagnostic Services: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with our equipment, utilizing your expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant mechanical experience, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
  • Certifications: Registered 4th year apprentice or journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification is required.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess a complete set of tools or be willing to invest in building a comprehensive toolset.
