Position Overview

Calian is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological assessment services for candidate selection in the Windsor area. As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients' applicants are fit for the job.

Our clients, operating in high-risk scenarios, rely on Calian's network of Psychologists to conduct assessments. You will be responsible for interviewing candidates who have completed written personality assessments, and then completing a template with your findings. You will also have the support of our experienced Senior Consulting Psychologist.

Responsibilities

  1. You will conduct structured clinical interviews with candidates, reviewing and interpreting the results of formal testing, including MMPI-3 and 16PF.
  2. You will determine whether the candidate meets or does not meet the requirements of CBSA, providing feedback on individual assessment results as needed.
  3. You may be required to defend psychological evaluations when required.

Qualifications

  1. At least 25 individual psychological assessments for clients primarily engaged in law enforcement or military roles.
  2. Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology is preferred; a Master's with the proper background is also acceptable.
  3. Must be fully licensed for autonomous practice as a Psychologist in Ontario.
  4. Must be fully fluent in English.
  5. Must be able to conduct interviews with candidates in-person in a private office.

Additional Requirements

  1. Casual contract – Flexible schedule Based on the needs of the client and the availability of the Psychologist.
  2. Work can be done on weekdays, evenings and/or weekends.

Pay: $225.00-$235.00 per hour
