Bartender - Hospitality Professional

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Restaurant ICHI GO ICHI E. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and ensuring that every drink is crafted with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring that every interaction is positive and memorable.
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beers, and wines with precision and attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Accessibility and Inclusion: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Support for Youth: Provide on-the-job training tailored to youth and awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans and support Veterans in translating their military skills and experience into the language of the civilian job market.
- Support for Indigenous People: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, and provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
