* Supervise and manage a team of drivers for the western locations
* Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance
* Oversee day-to-day operations, safety regulations, and procedures
* Work closely with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely service to customers
* Schedule and coordinate driver assignments, routes, and deliveries to meet operational goals and customer demands
* Monitor driver performance, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans when necessary
* Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies, including safety standards and vehicle maintenance
* Maintain accurate records and reports related to driver activities, performance, and incidents
Requirements:
* AZ or DZ license preferred, roll-off or lugger experience is an asset
* 2+ years experience in a supervisory role
* 5+ years experience in the transportation, logistics, or solid waste industry
* In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of making effective decisions under pressure
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office and transportation management software and technology for tracking and reporting
* GEOTAB experience is an asset
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed, available by phone after-hours
