About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Digital Solutions Architect to join our team in BDO Digital. As a key member of our Modern Workplace practice, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust solutions using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and MS Teams.



Your Responsibilities


You will own the following responsibilities:



  • Help shape the direction of the team aligned with core values, mission and vision; interview and hire new talent to fit the vision.
  • Coach, mentor, and manage team members to ensure they have the skills, experience, and capacity required to provide service delivery excellence to clients.
  • Stay current with the latest Microsoft technology developments, incorporating new technologies and tools into the development process as appropriate.
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
  • Work closely with senior architects to design, review, and develop robust, efficient, and maintainable solutions, ensuring adherence to practice standards and best practices.
  • Provide architecture and design guidance and manage project teams on multiple client engagements in diverse Microsoft technologies (ex. M365, Microsoft Viva, SharePoint, MS Teams).
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of solutions, ensuring that they meet or exceed business requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards.


Key Skills and Qualifications


The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and MS Teams.



  • Deep understanding of SharePoint Online, SharePoint administration, Graph API, Azure Service Principals, SPFx, and PNP.
  • Deep understanding of MS Teams, Teams administration, and policies.
  • Experience with performing migration activities to SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
  • Good understanding and hands-on implementation of integration solutions with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Excel imports/exports, and service bus.
  • Good understanding and hands-on Microsoft Purview features (ex. Retention, Sensitivity, DLP, etc.).
  • Good understanding of Azure services including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, TypeScript, ReactJS, and PowerShell.


Benefits


We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
