Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Williams Fresh Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of various culinary genres and be able to maintain our high standards of food quality.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage schedules for food service staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Williams Fresh Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform other physical tasks associated with food service.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
