Production Mixer

Treasure Mills Inc. is seeking a skilled Production Mixer / Baker to join our food manufacturing team. As a key member of our bakery operations, you will be responsible for scaling and mixing ingredients, ensuring timely baking and cooling of our products, and maintaining quality control and a clean production facility.
Key Responsibilities- Mixing:
- Pre-scale ingredients with precision
- Dump weighed ingredients into mixing machines according to recipe guidelines
- Understand how each ingredient affects the dough
- Ensure proper storage and freshness of ingredients
- Record production and test data for each food product batch
- Baking:
- Pre-heat ovens to desired temperature
- Ensure batter does not sit for extended periods prior to baking
- Check oven conditions
- Visually observe the baking process
- Complete QC check sheet throughout the shift
- Shared Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary area
- Report problems to the production supervisor in a timely manner
- Ensure food safety and a clean working environment
- Adhere to plant policies, HACCP, and GMP
- Mixing and/or baking experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience in the food industry is an asset
- Organized and reliable with a good work history and attendance record
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for lengthy periods
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift/push/pull pounds
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Shift work is involved, with typical shifts of 8-12 hours and a work week of 36-48 hours
