We are looking for an experienced and dedicated R&D Manager with a strong bakery products development and market knowledge.

Must Have:

- Bakery knowledge and experience,
- Strong Knowledge of the baking process and the function of ingredients
- Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science or related discipline
- Up to date with trends in Health & Nutrition
- Strong sense of Young Families and Kids taste and needs
- Passion for Baking and healthy nutrition
- Excellent organizational and communication skill
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Highly Organize
- Preference given to those with Geneses program knowledge

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to Production, R&D, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Operations for product/process development
- Plays key role in following & maintaining strategic initiatives in R&D through product improvement, cost reductions, new products, knowledge building or other technically based, business driven objectives
- Reviews projects with staff and provides support
- Work with Production to manage scale up and industrialization for new products
- Able to work in both a “hands on” and/or direct as needed to make ideas and concepts into product reality
- Ensures that specifications and process operating guides for product development are completed and communicated to those who have a need to know
- Communicates through reports or presentations as needed the status of projects or R&D initiatives
- Deals effectively and professionally with outside ingredient supplier to meet R&D objectives (keeping purchasing informed)
- Leads special projects concerning products, processes, equipment, and facility concepts and design
- Schedule the appropriately trained mixer to a designated production line, and train the
- Create SOP around recipes as well conduct shelf life studies
