SJ Catering is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff
  • Train staff in job duties and procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
Work Environment:

The Catering Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and walking. The successful candidate must have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have initiative.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
