Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per yearJob Description:

This role reports directly to the Station Manager and works under the guidance of the Remedial Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day field remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop. This position also involves supporting primary cementing activities as needed. As a safety-sensitive role, the individual must prioritize employee safety and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations, manage personnel, equipment, and materials, and guarantee timely arrival at locations.
  • Cementing Jobs: Execute successful cementing jobs according to design/client specifications, understand rigging in/out procedures, and ensure critical tasks are completed on every job.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce company Safety policies, ensure compliance with HSE legislation, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients and internal departments, including Sales and Dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Abilities: Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
  • Work Schedule: Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in all types of weather conditions, with a 24-hour on-call schedule and 15 days on/6 days off rotation.
  • Experience: At least some experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers is required.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to direct and motivate the work of others, ensuring a high level of service and quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software, as required.
  • Report Writing: Experience in completing reports and dealing with customers and dispatch.
  • Cementing Job Design: Understanding of cementing job design and client specifications.
  • Safety Procedures: Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
