About the Job

Canada Post is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in a postal office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, processing mail and packages, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell postal products and services to businesses and individuals, and provide excellent customer service to meet their needs.
  • Mail and Package Processing: Sort, distribute, and process mail and packages in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the postal office, including answering phones, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Customer Support: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent provincial certification, or relevant work experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the postal office.
