About the Role:
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at 21 Century Food Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods using fresh ingredients and following standard recipes and procedures
* Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste
* Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to achieve smooth and efficient meal service
Benefits:
* Competitive salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience

Requirements:
* No degree, certificate or diploma required, but relevant training and experience essential
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Familiarity with Japanese cuisine an asset
Certifications and Permits:
* Valid employment authorization for Canada
* Any additional certifications or permits required by law or regulation
Working Conditions:
* Work Term: Permanent

* Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
