Key Responsibilities:

  • New Cooking Techniques: Train and guide the kitchen team on new cooking methods, equipment, and ingredient usage.
  • Cooking Instruction: Provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to cooks, focusing on presentation, plating, and flavor profiles.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook high-quality meals for customers, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Staff Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for kitchen staff, covering topics such as knife skills, menu planning, and kitchen safety.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance of kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with a proven track record of success in leading and training kitchen teams.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Food Safety Certification or HACCP training, are highly desirable.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
