About the Role

We're seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Rider & Safety Science team at Lyft. As a key member of our team, you'll leverage data and analytical thinking to drive business decisions and shape our rider app.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable decisions
  • Design and analyze online experiments to inform product launches and business strategies
  • Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making
  • Establish key metrics to measure the health of our products and rider experience
Requirements
  • 3+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data science libraries in Python or R
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
