We're seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Rider team at Lyft. As a key member of our data science organization, you'll play a critical role in shaping our rider app and making business decisions that put our customers first.
Responsibilities- Partner with product managers, engineers, and operators to leverage data insights and drive business decisions
- Design and analyze online experiments to inform product development and launch decisions
- Develop analytical frameworks to monitor business and product performance, and establish metrics to measure the health of our products and rider experience
- Leverage data and analytical thinking to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into action
- Degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, economics, or engineering, or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role, with proficiency in SQL and experience with data science and visualization libraries in Python or R
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners
